Saying it well, when the room is hard.
Training here is holistic. You'll learn how to handle hard questions, bridge, structure your talking points, and more. My goal is to leave you genuinely confident, clear, ready, and maybe a little more excited than before.
Let's talkVerbal + nonverbal communications
Staying on message and bridging to your points matter, and we'll practice them. But we go further, focusing on non-verbal cues, camera work, and tone.
The hard questions and the personal ones
We draft, rehearse and rehearse again. You'll be able to talk comfortably about the thing you don't usually talk about. The room only stops being scary once you've already been in it.
Preparation for different performance moments
Pitch rooms, board meetings, all-hands, keynotes, sensitive 1:1's — the same disciplines apply. I can prep you for the full range of rooms where the stakes are real, not just the ones with reporters in them.
Presence protects the moat
A clear narrative earns the room; presence is how you hold it. The way you show up when it’s hard is part of the durable advantage. I prep you to be more yourself under pressure.

What is media training?
Media training is preparation for leaders to perform well in high-stakes communication moments or any moment involving Q&A, such as press interviews, investor pitches, and board presentations. It includes message development, mock interview practice, rehearsal of the hard questions, and verbal and non-verbal coaching.
What is your training style?
Our time together will be rooted in respect, honesty, and kindness. More than sounding perfect, I want you to sound clear, genuine, and like a polished you. I won't sugarcoat anything, but I also coach with empathy. I want to see you at your best. I know this is really hard, and I'm with you every step of the way.
Will my training be recorded?
Yes. Every session is video-recorded for your benefit. Afterward, you'll receive the video with coaching notes so you can see exactly what audiences see. These are private and for your use only.
Do you train teams or only individuals?
I train 1:1 unless the presentation or interview includes more than one person. Partners get the most value from one-on-one work, where the coaching is specific to their voice and style. I can refer you to a resource for team training.
What if I have a press interview coming up this week?
For an imminent moment, it's best to do a 1-hour session with some pre-work done by you. For presentation consultation, 4+ weeks of lead time is recommended.
When is the best time to do media training?
About 14 days before the moment, so the information stays fresh while you still have enough time to practice.
